ASECOM RAILS receives the test version of an order it placed a year ago for the creation of a finite elements computation software package for assessing the range of elements comprising a crane rail track. This order was defined and researched in collaboration with the École Polytechnique of Paris. An innovative software programme equipped with a powerful calculation engine used by the CEA, it will allow us to assess load carrying capacity for each element comprising the crane rail track and validate the various choices possible depending on the elements’ load concentrations applied to the system via the crane wheels.
